2007 Service Learning Projects This entire semester has been a busy one for Mr. Hall's Sociology Class. The students in the class presented their service learning projects to the community on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007. The Sociology class of 2007 chose a variety of projects. Among the projects this year were "Landfill Awareness", "Newark Past & Present", "Memories of World War II Veterans", "Basketball Through the Years", and "Celebrating Newark Throughout the Ages Mural". Mr. Mike Hall II, Sociology Teacher, has designed this service learning project to get the students more involved in their community. The service learning project is a requirement for the class but the students have the pleasure of choosing whatever topic they wish to pursue during the semester.
