There’s a lot of fun going on in Student Council this winter. STUCO had a monetary food drive at the end of November. If students raised their goal of $1,000, they would be awarded a movie day at school on November 23. Together we raised a total of $1,850 for the food drive. Students and teachers celebrated by having a movie day in each classroom. The seniors raised the most money, so they were provided snacks by Student Council. Newark High School is happy to help families in need.

Student Council organizes events and things throughout the year to involve the school and/or the community. Its goal is to better the school and get everyone involved.
