History Club's purpose is to give students a broader perspective. Mr. Hall II saw that other schools had a History Club and was inspired to have one for students to be more in depth in history.
He plans to have T-shirts made, go on trips to local historical places, and make History Club more popular.
History Club will affect Newark High School by increasing interests, and giving students a lifelong passion for history. Right now they are planning to get a group of students together to go to the Earlville Trivia Night and have a movie night.
"History Club has potential to do a lot of things and students don't have to like history to enjoy History Club," says Jasmine Mitchell, President of History Club.
