Newark Community High School's theatre program performed Wizard of Oz on April 20, 21 and 22, 2023 at 6pm.

"The Wizard of Oz" is a classic musical that tells the story of a young girl named Dorothy Gale and her journey through the magical Land of Oz. Along the way, she learns valuable lessons about life, such as the importance of being ready for unexpected detours, having courage in the face of challenges, and the value of friendship. Dorothy's companions, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, demonstrate the power of working together and supporting each other, even in difficult situations.

Overall, "The Wizard of Oz" teaches us about the power of perseverance, friendship, and self-discovery.
