Many people try to capture the true chaos of love and its tribulations in their artistic work; however, William Shakespeare is most known for effectively doing so. This fall, the Newark Community High School Drama Club conquered a famous work of William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Performing the play was a "different feeling" and it required a lot of concentration and exaggeration in movement and emotion. Interpreting and performing a Shakespearian play proved to be a difficult and challenging task and the Club was able to grow through it. Jason explained, "Shakespeare opens our eyes to ongoing things" in todays world.

"The course of true love never did run smooth." Jason Davidson, a senior and Drama Club member, stated this line from the play when asked what line impacted him the most.

The play went well for all shows and even the minor mishaps didn't skew the actors and many students enjoyed the mythical, comedic, fantastic nature of the play.
