Newark Drama Club Presents Box Office Poison

The Newark Drama Club is starting off the year with a fall play that is a murder mystery comedy called Box Office Poison.

In play Box Office Poison, Sheriff Lockwood investigates murders in a theater in a small tourist town. Almost everyone is a suspect, and April McKay, who inherited the theater, must find the murderer before someone else drops dead.

The director of this play is Sheila Thompson who retired from Yorkville High School. She is helping out with the play while Mrs. Wheeler is taking a year off to work on her master's degree. Senior Vinnie DiClementi has been in Drama club all four years. He said, "I'm expecting a very different atmosphere but still positive."

The play will be held at 7 p.m. on November 3 and 4 in the gym at Newark High School.
